I am just looking for a verifiable link that says the vaccines only reduce the symptoms and not preventing the spread -

They are front line professionals. If you can link a verifiable "science" link that supports your assertation I will gladly take it under consideration. It could be because I am old but I can't seem to find a link that states as a fact with documentation that the vaccine only lessens symptoms. Please post the link and if I am wrong I will apologize. -

I see your point but KFLA has been mainly green until recently when they went yellow so "hotspot" travelers have been there but yet there numbers were still going down. Also, let's be honest, there is nothing in this recent order that is going to stop travel. -

Since Napanee is in the KFLA I look at their stats. As of mid day today they had 62 active case with 2 hospitalizations and no one in ICU, that number is down a good bit from last week. The surprising thing to me is that the bulk of the active cases are in the 20-29 age group but with KFLA having a population of 209,000 a lockdown makes zero sense and at least the friends we have there are not happy campers. -

We went ahead and bit the bullet on metal roofing in 17 and it hurt. Our problem is that in the last 15 years we have had tree damage, the orientation and prevailing winds is not good but Nappanee Tree Service helped that a lot.

Just make sure whatever you put 5200 on you never want to ever move it again. Don't ask me how I know that. -

I would think so unless there is a small leak that the bunks pressing up stopped.. I used the gluvit because it was leaking where the transom and hull join on the starboard side. I didn't want to do a teardown so I tilted it up a bit and let the gluvit run down into the seam. It has been three or four years and is still dry. -

I would go with the come along. The joists look strong and the boat doesn't appear to be heavy.. I did that in my basement garage using 1/2 inch poly. I sealed some leaks on the old 14 tinner at the cottage with Gluvit. -

Do you have a picture of it sitting on the trailer? I have used a floor jack and blocks to get it up then put jack stands under the boat. I have also gone shade tree and used come alongs on a big tree limb to lift one off the trailer. -

Well, picked it up Sunday and put a couple of hours on it yesterday, it is a nice little skiff and will scoot pretty good. I got 36 mph on GPS. As usual for me, she is far from new (2005) but seems to be in good shape, moisture readings are good and she has been fresh water only till yesterday. I need to clean some wiring up and have ordered a water pump kit, plugs, new trailer hubs, etc. I have the two old tinners at the cottage but both are old with old motors and I was going for dependability. I just have to make sure that she is good for a 1300 mile haul and once she makes it to Napanee she will be there for the forseable future. -

No argument from me but many elected officials quickly forget why they were elected. I can't speak with authority on Canadian officials but down here we have far to many politicians that have become multi millionaires by being paid by the taxpayer. A senator makes 174K annually but exactly how do you become worth untold millions being a senator? -

KFLA is looking at restrictions because they have 69 active cases out of a population of over 409,000. ☠️ -

I understand where you are at but those folks that have generations that owe their lives to a small business may not. I have been retired since I sold my business in 2017, but I haven't worked for someone since August 1, 1997. When you have your financial life on the line you look at things a bit different. -

I am good with that, I am just bothered by who gets to decide when it is under control. It is sort of like religion. I am good with God, but some of his fan club scares me. -

Because we have multiple friends that would like to cross also. We have Canadian friends with US relatives and US cottage friends that would like to use their property that they are paying taxes on. There are also a lot of fishing and water related businesses in Canada that are really hurting due to the border being closed. I didn't take it as a Richard comment at all. -

Man, you could slay speckled trout and redfish down here with that top boat because you could get in some real skinny water with it. -

Just my opinion but I think the US was buying as a Plan B. Give em all to Canada and maybe Trudy Jr will follow the "science" and start opening the border to those that have been vaccinated.
