  1. The Northern Pikes Reel Big Fish Blue Oyster Cult Hootie and the Blowfish Phish ?
  2. You are not alone. I deal with other peoples' problems all day long at work. I enjoying nothing more than popping in the earbuds, walking down to the lake to enjoy the solitude and maybe catch a fish or two. Some people meditate or go to the gym to blow off steam...I load up my favourite bands in my phone's playlist and toss Rapalas.
  3. Seen many deer flying there but never a moose!
  4. Let's start banning sports cars too. Proper training, maintenance, attitude and respect for your machine prevents this sort of thing.
  5. That's not what their ad says... https://youtu.be/2a5tlDRK40E
  6. I have 3 Shadow Rap Shads. All 3 slowly sink, not rise. I'm using 20lb braid with about 3 feet of 20lb fluoro leader and the front hook removed to try to get these things to rise...no luck I presume it's the line. Is there a max line weight for these things or what's the deal?
  7. Even using the double o ring method they still seem to crack in the middle early. Dingers and Stick-o's are my go to worms.
  8. Here's a little something that may have helped a couple of weeks ago when I wasn't getting any bites..I snagged a goby with a spoon...rubbed him all over the spoon before I fed him to a seagull ..3 casts later had a pike on. Will try this technique for bass next summer. More on topic..been using the Yum F2 spray, Mike's bass gel, and Shiner Wand alewife chapstick. I feel the spray comes off after the first cast where as the gel lasts for 15 or so casts and the chapstick stuff stays on forever. But it's hard to tell if the fish would have bit or not without the scent on. Does anyone notice a difference using this stuff?
  9. Dropped these last year. Fished for 45 mins at a marina, saw no fish. Dropped one of these and 7 smallies were hovering around the cloud column within a couple of minutes. They work. I'm just not crazy about spending 10 bucks on them.
  10. I have a few bottles of the Yum F2 spray scent I got from the Le Baron sales. Thinking of marinading some senkos in zippies over the winter. Ill probably zippy the rest until next season..cant hurt.
  11. Saw a few guys with little crank baits, light line, and no leader pre bass season this year also claiming to be out for pike. I don't play that game. Had a really nice gar sniffer on a 4" texas white senko earlier this month too. They seem interested in them that's for sure.
  12. I went nuts this summer with buying Senkos. I have a couple of Planos full with them out of their bag. I remember old scented Berkley soft baits would shrivel up and go hard over the winter. How do you guys store your Senkos? Any need to repackage them in a zippy or do they stay nicely soft over the winter in a Plano? Any idea if they lose their scent if they're not bagged?
  13. Has anyone used Senkos for pike fishing? Ive had a few pike sniffers this year while targeting bass..just wondering if anyone targets pike with them.
  14. Caught a smallie tonight on a 3/0. I use either that or a 4/0
  15. I still hook a bit of the worm..I had a fish hit from the side and pull the worm sideways through the rings completely off..all that was left was the two o rings on my hook.
  16. I also use the clear rings, not the black ones.
  17. Use two o rings..cross them over and stick the hook where they cross...the hook will also sit perpendicular to the worm, not parallel like it does with one ring.
