The Casio one is pretty neat but check out how crappy the resolution gets as the frame rate increases - Youtube has plenty of videos showing this...personally I'd wait for better technology to arrive. And keep in mind Canon and lots of other companies make underwater housing for normal P&S cameras which may be something else to look into instead of limiting yourself just to the few water/shock/freeze proof cameras on the market.

thanks guys! Brian, for that photo I placed my GoPro camera on the ground and had it firing continuous photos every 1 second. After photographing these deer for quite some time now, I got to learn the trails they use and just placed the camera where they'd walk by it. Curious animals make for interesting photos!

Hey Everyone, I haven't been posting much lately because I've been up in the Kirkland Lake area doing some photo and video shooting. I mostly focused on landscape photography on my travels throughout Northeastern Ontario last week but I did happen to stumble upon an American Kestrel nest in Marten River. Luckily I was prepared and had my 500mm lens as well as 2x converter. They were in a tricky spot to shoot with 0 direct light but it was hard not to shoot this action...enjoy! Nailed it. This is what I used to do as a job for a few years in Ontario as well as BC. What Craig suggested is exactly what we used to do and it works great!

I've been up in Gravenhurst the past few days doing some shooting.
