  2. No problemo... we get accused alot of not letting people have thier say... its a very big balancing act, trying to maintain civility on a board... not playing favoutrites... playing favourites... its hard to manage sometimes. I'm sure other boards have thier problems as well. If ya wanna whine about someone or something, pm me, im always interested in whats going on out there.... lol

  4. Atta Boy!!
  5. Personally, I'd rather not see anything said here about any other fishing sites... in general, it creates nothing but headaches for me and the other mod/partners... whenever there is bad press about other sites on here, I get the standard, "I will sue your ass for everything you have!" emails, which I can certainly live without. So please... don't...

  11. ---------------------------------------------------------------- O.F.A.H. supports Province on delay of new fishing regulations ---------------------------------------------------------------- The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (O.F.A.H.) congratulates the Minister of Natural Resources for listening to the angling community across Ontario and delaying the implementation of the new fishing regulations until January 1, 2008. "The O.F.A.H. is pleased that Minister Ramsay listened to the O.F.A.H. and other stakeholders who strongly suggested that if the new regulations were not ready in time for the open water season, implementing them in mid-season would have caused chaos," said Mike Reader, O.F.A.H. Executive Director. "The development of the new regulations has been a long and complicated process. We are pleased that after almost two years of consultation, that the Ministry listened to the angling community and made significant changes to the proposed regulations. While this may have delayed the introduction of the new package, it was more important to listen to the concerns of the people who will be affected by the changes. Rushing the implementation would have prevented this and the government should be congratulated on doing the right thing." As noted in the Ministry's media release, anglers should continue to use the 2005-2006 rules until the new regulatory package takes effect, with the exception of a few changes to bass and walleye seasons that took effect on January 1, 2007. These changes can be viewed at www.mnr.gov.on.ca or www.ofah.org.

  15. GSP all the way!! and a pride fight on Sunday... with Don Frye (one of his fight is my all time favorites) and butterbean.. Heres my all time favorite fight.. it was the first or second time I ever watched MMA Not much finnesse... but these are some tough buggers.... WARNING - ITS PRETTY GRAPHIC.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KW_FpINwVU Gotta love YouTube.... Frye returned to PRIDE in February of 2002, facing long-time rival Ken Shamrock at PRIDE 19. After a long, tough battle, Frye pulled out a decision victory. The two hugged after the fight ended, putting an end to their rivalry. Frye vs. Takayama, PRIDE 21 Just four months after defeating Ken Shamrock, Frye returned to face Japanese pro wrestling legend Yoshihiro Takayama at PRIDE 21. In a fight that many consider to be one of PRIDE's most exciting matches, Frye and Takayama clinched in a "hockey fight" pose, each holding the head and hitting, with Takayama finally going to the body after more than a full minute of unrelenting, undefended shots. This would happen three times in the fight, until the referee stopped the bout after Frye mounted Takayama, who was visibly much worse for the wear.

  23. While we attract a few sponsors, and are not on TV, most of my full length videos feature the camp that was good enough to put us up. Generally these clips rely on other sponsors that aren't even mentioned in the clip. One of the hardest things to do is attract sponsors... makes ya feel like you are begging for their money.. which I just can't get myself to do. We've been lucky enough that the clips are not our main stream of income, so if I don't get a sponsor for an episode.. I don't care. Everyone says ... "I can do that, why don't I have a fishing show??" lol... well the fishing is the smallest and I easiest part of the whole operation.. its getting paid to do it thats the hardest part. A great example... I was at a camp one time and was told a fishing show was coming in to do some filming that day. I thought it would be cool to see how these guys operated... The plane comes in and they get setup, the plane leaves, and shortly they figure out that they left the outboard in the float of the plane. I've got two boats so I say, "here take the good one" Dude says... can't do it.. unless they can see the motor on the back of the boat, theres no use filming. So I tell them Ill call the base on MY satellite phone, get them to turn around and bring your motor in... which i do... and 45 min later they are on the water... They sat on the end of the dock and wouldn't even have a coffee with me... I'm pretty sure thats the day I promised myself that whatever fishing promotions I did I would never be or act like that.. My motto is video first... sponsors second. I think the only time I ever over promoted a lure was with Northhamfishing's video, but the fishing was so awesome and I was out fishing everyone and all I could figure was it was the lure... I will admit it, the crtc ruling makes it very difficult to attract sponsors on TV... god bless the internet!
  24. Ill be sending something Sam.
