  1. Thanks for the support guys, i'm hearing a lot of stuff on the news that is rediculous and quite frankly the only media outlet that's pro anything we do has been 680/640 news...even cp24 has thrown us under the bus......crappy job but someone's gotta do it. Just to let everyone know, I was fortunate to be a part of the G20 security on Monday and Tuesday - luckily nothing happened and on tuesday I met several Blue Jays because my post was outside the Rogers Centre. Unfortunately I have several friends that are down there now on the riot squad and have already been face to face with the militant protestors.... http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D8fRvFvoobhE&h=2d572KIq3Rz-CHLiLROZ-1PKcnw the link is what people try to do to get us to react. The officer in the sunglasses is a really good friend of mine. ]http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e285/GraphingAddict/?action=view&current=37367_440929425621_597155621_641247.jpg The first 6 officers on the left work on my shift.
  2. it's also a chance for the jobless, squeegie weilding, losers to protest every possible cause "peacefully" and then taunt the boys in blue...did i also mention that they like to spray us with supersoakers full of urine, throw bags of feces and eggs injected with fermented urine at us and my favourite........... the christmas ornaments (round balls) full of acid ....oh and the molitoff cocktail is a real symbol of peaceful protests.....so is the dozen pipebombs the media hasn't told anyone about
  3. A good friend of mine was the one that stopped the car...
  4. umm...not sure what you're saying there, but it's not hard to drive and scan your surroundings....
  5. Well at work in the Vaughan area i've seen: Deer, coyotes, raccoons, possums, turkey and i've actually seen a cougar and not the dirty old woman kind...saw one around the intersection of King Road and Keele Street....
  6. Ok gentlemen...I'm working with TPS at the G20...here's why its costing so much #1 - they are expecting somewhere in the range of 100-200k angry violent protestors #2 - search on youtube "G20 riots" #3 - Toronto G20 has received more threats of serious violence from different anarchist/hippie groups than any other summit meeting #3 they have to pay me and every other officer there overtime because we are working extra time to help out. Not only us but the military as well...plus they have to equip us with riot helmets and gas masks Trust me, the number of people stopped with molotov cocktails and other weapons has been unreal. Don't get me wrong, the media has done everything to skew the facts..
  7. Bigfoot.... Or maybe a racoon fight....sounds like someone jumping up and down on a rusted farmers fence
  8. The saugeen river has all of the species you're targeting including muskie and salmon, resident browns and bows...the saugeen has some of the best river smallie fishing I've ever experienced...you just have to know where to look...I spent half of my summers up there and most of my personal bests are from the river

  17. So, like everyday I work I got up at 330 and was on the road at about 420... I get to Mavis on the 401 and discover that the 401 is closed between Mavis and Hurontario...no big deal really...so I got off on Mavis and headed to the 407. I get to the intersection of Mavis and Derry and I'm starting to think that I'm going the wrong way (even though I'm not)... So I bend down to grab my GPS from under the seat. Now at 500am I'm the only car on the road....so as I'm rummaging for the GPS I feel.....BANG!!!! My head and neck are snapped back.... The car behind me slams into me...so I'm thinking what the hell! I get out and its a 3 car pile up...and we're the only cars on the road! Again I'm thinking what the hell! So I get out and the at fault driver is acting a little suspicious but I'm not in cop mode I'm in the "oh my god I was rearended" mode. So I contact Peel and they tell me to exchange info (duh!) and come into the collision reporting centre...so I start taking the other drivers info. The in my best work voice I ask for his info...he staggers over and drops his documents then proceeds to tell me that he gave me them...at this point the bells and whistles are going off.... So when I bring it to his attention that he dropped his drivers licence he struggles to bend down to pick it up...then he falls over...the dude was drunk! So anyway I call in the cavellry....and the rest is history...but damn is my neck and back sore!
