OK - Who's bright idea was it to schedule the fishing trip this week anyway

Leaving early tomorrow morning. I won't be hitting the border until somewhere around 9:30am / 10:00am.

Thought about that too. We got diverted onto that a couple years ago coming home - due to construction I believe

It would be around 10:00 or11:00am when I get there. Maybe the worst will be over by then.

Was looking at a map and didn't see Olympic drive. Saw Rt 20 out of Niagara - then route 8 thru Hamilton - then to the 403 to he 407. Not sure what route 8 is like through Hamilton. Is 403 not a good choice to connect into 407 Thanks guys. Rich

Oh man ... What a heck of a trip. something I wish I could do some day. Awesome report and thanks for taking the time to put this up.

Sweet trip. Wouldn't mind latching into some nice gators like that myself.

Under inflated. Mine calls for 50 PSI. There is also a sticker on my trailer that indicates what the tire pressure should be. I check it each time before I head out. If you also carry a spare, make sure that one is properly inflated.

Oh yes - No Musky Fishing for at least 60 days - can't be stubbing your toes in boat trying to fight and land a monster. We'll wave at ya sitting on the dock as we head out.

No worries. Still quite the impressive catch.

We fished the Rideau out of Rideau Ferry, not far from Perth for quite a few years. We would run into Perth quite often just to look around. Quite the nice historic town. The old rubber worm bouncing through the weeds, we picked a lot of nice bass. Even bouncing across the rocky shoals was great for smallies. We lived top water action early in the am - and again just before dusk. Looking forward to seeing your pics.

Great fish and a somewhat difficult milestone to reach. I keep falling one inch too short. Got two upcoming trips to try again. Congrats to the anglers if course
