Oh no... Thats where I was leaning to go...

Well the wife gave me the OK to head up North for a couple of day's. Its a last minute trip but I want to make it worth it. Can anyone give me a hand in picking a lake in the Parry Sound, Muskoka, Haliburton, and/or Bay of Quinte area. Were gonna have a full day and a half of solid fishing. Would love to get into some great Walleye fishing. We are planning on leaving very early tomorrow morning so any help would be great. I will be sure to return the favour. Thanks again. Jim

Want to head out to Puslinch Lake this week-end. Couple of people have been teling me about it's Wally fishin and I want to give it a shot.. I just dont know where to get on the ice, or if there is a bait store near by, or what area to fish.. Any help would be great guy's. Thanks again,

Any pond you see will be great for the kids. As long as your allowed!! Tiny jig's and maggots will pull panfish from a swimming pool if you try hard enough!! My kids love our ponds around here... Good Luck and Merry X-Mas JIm

First of all...WOW!!! What a storm we got out there.. My buddy was 15ft away from me in his Scout and for most of the day I could'nt see him... I drilled about 12 holes before we marked actice fish. Once we did we set up shelter, turned on the heater, and slayed those panfish. We must have got over 100 bluegills a piece. (tiny though) Brought home 10 (oksize) ones for the belly. All in all, a good day,. Met a couple of guy's from the board...(dont remember the names...) Got to fish some new ice. Cheers, Jim

Went for a Night Bite crappie hunt last night. I was the first person on this pond so far and man were those fish ever on... About 15 bluegill's and 5 crappies in 1 hour, but they were HUGE. It was a lot of fun all domed up in my new Scout, with a lantern hang'n above my head and endless, drag'rippin, panfish at my toes. Man I love this early ice. I wanna head out to Valens on Sunday. I've never fished there before and was wondering if anyone wants to join?? Cheers!

Parkhill looked like it was coming along good but the edge wont let you on. There is about 1.5" of ice on a slope for about 10ft out. I did'nt feel like gettin a soaker so I went back to where I've got 6" of solid ice.. Gonna munch a nice bluegill/crappie diner tonight. Maybe I'll have to head up and visit Leechman way up north to fish a differant lake... Cheers!

Im gonna take a drive to Parkhill Res, now to test the ice. Crossin my fingers I can start fish'n a new pond.. I'll let ya's know. Cheers!!

hahaha, well I think you've got a bit of an edge on us being up there but we are alway's up to a friendly (or case of beer!!!!!) compitition...lol Good luck man! Cheers everyone.

Well we fish for giants all the time but she alway's bites us off no matter what were usin. That fish bit us off and then smacked another bait 10 min, later and we got the rig back from the first hit. There is a ton of structure there so it's pretty tough to keep one of those on...
