  1. Just kidding bud, the driveway was clean last night and the plow excrement was cleared up this morning. LOL on the bunnies.
  2. They don't owe him anything. I'm surprised he doesn't sink in the river with all those horseshoes weighing him down! Good on you Chris. Quick thinking and selfless action should earn you homemade pies for life!! BTW Chris, you have a snowblower? Are you busy this afternoon?
  3. Console.
  4. We need a few more for the next round of selections.

  6. Where we used to live there was an elderly couple beside us. At first it was a little annoying but you have to have some compassion and patiance for our elders. I showed them how to bend at the knees to releive some back strain and it wasn't long before they mastered the technique; they could have my driveway done in under an hour Today was spent patroling the neighbourhood after dropping my wife off at work. We haven't seen a plow yet and I don't think we will for a couple of days (that's the norm). I ended up towing/pushing or driving 11 vehicles out of snow drifts and trail grooming with the Suburban so the other vehicles in the neighbourhood could get in and out. Ironic that I should be maintaining the road and hauling my garbage back to the house because it wasen't picked up on the same day that I get my invoice for 5 easy payments of $900 for property taxes.
  7. I like this thing; used it over a year and still no leaks. It has a double seal and you have to press very hard to close it. If you don't and only get to the first seal, it will leak a little bit. Best of all the shape conforms to my tackle bags/totes. No more messing with bottles and jars.
  8. Well, hurry up and buy a sled!
  9. Ya gotta love it when that happens! Thanks for posting!
  10. Great post Joey, sorry to hear about the damage!

  22. I was more than a little shocked when I checked Facebook and spotted this status update from our friend Bly on OFC; "I have committed to a Polar Plunge for Charity February 6...all helpful tips and pledges welcome lol" After speaking to her and learning a little about 'the plunge' I jumped at the chance to make a donation of my own. Donations will be split between the Rotary Club of Bridgenorth-Ennismore-Lakefield and the organization of choice from the participant. In Bly's case Muskies Canada - Kawartha Lakes chapter. Both great organizations in my opinion. Now the truth. Sure it feels good to donate to charity but the clincher was her PROMISING to record her plunge and now I'm challanging her to POST IT HERE!!!!! There's still time to make donations; I encourage as many of you that are able, to chip in by contacting Bly via private messenger (PM's). Any contributions will be appreciated by her,the Rotary Club and Muskie's Canada. I'm paying by PayPal but I'm sure there's other payment options available. For more information about the plunge: Rotary Club of Bridgenorth-Ennismore-Lakefield Muskies Canada - Click on the "Kawartha Lakes Polar Dip" video link
  23. +1 for Nils Master I never would have believed the hype if I hadn't seen it in action. As Jocyln says, you can be fishing before the other guy can have his gas auger started.
  24. Clayton NY http://www.claytonmarina.com/ I've never done business with them but the prices are pretty good.
