  1. Great to have another Muskie Nut around, I look forward to seeing some pics!
  2. Nice pics! Great to see you and your Father enjoying the fishing!
  3. One of the nice things about the Main Kawarthas is the ability to travel by boat through Locks to different lakes, of course the trade off is these lakes are really busy in the summer, especially long weekends.
  4. I usually fish from my boat. Muskies mainly, Salmon/Trout, Bass. There's something nice about leaving the boat and gear behind and getting back to basics...As small stream and a rod.
  5. I have a Trailer on Pigeon Lake, and my Brother lives near Minden. Any questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM/Email. The Kawarthas are busy. Haliburton can be too, but you can find quieter lakes up there. Not sure what your fishing interests are, but the Kawarthas get alot of pressure, and the fishing can be tough. There are some awesome Bass Lakes in the Haliburtons.
  6. Nice Pics CC, those rainbows sure are pretty!
  7. One of the nicest tribs on the Great Lakes! Awesome shots!
  8. oops, thanks Doug!
  9. Wow, a Red Eared Slider! Those Turtles are native to the southern USA, I wonder how he got there? Nice pics Misty.
  10. Hey Pete, drop me an email! [email protected]
  11. Stressed? No. Frustrated? Yes.
  12. Nice work, nice big hen.
  13. I love the sound of the Japanese guys in that!
  14. Welcome! Two kinds of people in this world, Masters of Bait, and liars!
  15. Welcome!
  16. I don't think any size of pontoon boat would be a safe choice for the Great Lakes. Have you looked at Deck boats? They seem to be a nice blend of v-hull performance and pontoon deck size. Princecraft makes a aluminum hulled deck boat.
  17. I did some fishin' for trout this morning, haven't done any float-fishing for years, but after seeing some of the pics here last week I got the itch! I was joined by Charlied...He was a real pleasure to spend the morning with, Charlie was even kind enough to supply some roe! Charlie landed at least 9 fish and lost a few... I managed to land 4, lost 2 or 3...
  18. I have a regular C3 7000 with the 4:1 ratio and its fast enough for Jerks or Bucks...
  19. http://www.abugarcia.com/prod.php?k=57106&...amp;p=PUR5500LC
  20. Wayne,my buddy got his for $350 US -no tax, I figured he did alright, and the handle was on the "right" side LOL
  21. Wow, never seen one that dark.
  22. I should go move the six I use to the front row! LOL The vinyl downspouts are a great way to go, 12 fit nicely in a plastic milk crate.
  23. I haven't had the pleasure of using the cabo, but my Muskie pardner has a Calcutta TE 400, I don't think you could use a nicer casting reel. Kinda pricey though!
  24. Hi Ken, welcome to OFC
  25. One of my favorites, I think I have every colour. Depthraider that is. I like em for fall trolling since they don't like to go over 4mph. Nice to cast too. Shallowraiders(straight) are nice twitchbaits.
