i went today i took the turkey hunting seminar walked around did find a 8.5 foot rod case at a good price bought three rods average price all in all an ok show was nice to see some retailers i only order online from but it was way tooooooo hot temp. wise it was really busy today for 20 bucks its better than a movie

hey everyone looking for fishing buds in the gta i am retired and do alot of fishing 4-7 days a week lol i shore fish and kayak fish my target fish are usually bass pike catfish and when hungry perch i am looking for fishing friends as always fishing alone gets boring ( besides i need someone to take photos lol i fish in Pickering (frenchmans bay) a lot at this time of year for pike also bluufers park ashbridges and harbourfront area i do hit some of the provincial parks as well cuz i get 50% off the cabins and camping i don't drive but i get around on transit pretty good i live by the toronto zoo so most of my shore fishing is in the east end none of my friends fish so thought i would put a shout out here and i am one of those guys that fish for hourrrrrrrrrssss lol so if anyone would like to hit the water for fishing let me know

and a few weeks sounds good i still have fishing to do lol

very sad indeed i kayak fish and i know the dangers i would not head out in the fall without a drysuit and a type I life vest ( turns you right side up if unconscious ) and if going into a big lake i would use a beacon any type of solo boating has its dangers all we can do is be prepared as best we can

actually bobcats are southern cats they are just slowly moving north they dont do well in really deep snow you will see more of them in southern ontario

i have been reading this topic and i find myself needing to join in over the years i have lived in some questionable area i lived in east L.A in spanish harlem new york and just across the tracks from overtown in miami i never felt the need to have a gun at home or on my hip but i was young agile and could run fast i am now 50 years old and have a very bad back and use a mobility scooter to get around i am canadian i now live in scarborough and i wish sometimes to have one on my hip i go fishing alot at night and early evening this summer i was approached by two young men while i was fishing who were very nervous acting and asked me if they could use my phone to call a cab i found this troubling i was sitting in my mobility scooter so i thought it would be prudent to stand up it was a bad vibe i got the scooter between them and my and i reached for my cane they then made some kinda silly excuse about changing their mind and they left now maybe they were innocent but i have to wonder what might have happened if i could not of stood up and shown them i wasnt so helpless

i saw people zapping fish in Frenchman's bay yesterday but they wouldnt say what they were catching there was no emblem on the side of the boat so not sure if it was mnr ( no uniforms ) or someone else they were at iit for a few hours

i fished the channel this morning and afternoon on the west side got 2 smallie 1 largemouth and a white bass and then i got a 42 inch pike good and fat too

not a jig set up but you could use top water lures i have been doing great with the live target mice and soft frogs
