You should see the number of people who live outside of Canada holding stock in Canadian Companies. Few countries would survive without outside investment to bring in an infusion of cash to help improve their economy. A piece of stock has just as much legal value as a plot of land.

Glad to hear you are safe and unfortunately lost some equipment. I hope you get compensated for it. I would like to urge everyone to keep an eye out for all boats especially ones over 20 ft. Once you get into boats of that size the boats that are not on a solid plane have a large blind spot when the bow is riding high. This is not an excuse for them to not know what is in front of their boats just a heads up if you can't see the drivers face pretend he can't see you and take action. I also carry an air horn on any boat and will sound at another boat that gives me any indication they don't see me.

Good choice on the saw for sure. I have Husqvarna saws one is a great big commercial saw 268 for trunks and then a lighter limbing saw makes the day of wood cutting easier.

no that does look excessive Lew I was thinking it was less and not that visible. Even my Sprinter does not make dust like that and it has a goodly amount of weight I control.

Lew you also might look at what the wheels are made of. My painted wheels of gray showed brake dust readily while the chromed brakes on the eco boost hide/shedded the dust much better.

I have done it for years and never torn a tarp yet. I also put pieces on my trolling motor skeg and blades to keep them from tearing a hole in the tarp.

I am glad that it worked I love the old machinery and have restored a few older engines in my time.

Glad you enjoyed it. Few things taste as good as Cajun Gumbo or our signature red beans and rice.

We are still at the point that the carbs need to be cleaned and adjusted. A properly working float in the carb will allow gas to be pumped via the bulb and get hard without fuel running down the outside of the carb. It has a overflow vent that is visible from the front of the carbs after you remove the flame suppressor from the front. You can run seafoam or 2/4 but it will not get rid of a piece of debris or a damaged needle and seat on the float. Once an issue is identified fix that issue before you look for a possible issue to cure a problem. Fixing them one by one usually results in less wrong diagnosis and snowballing the path to repair with assumptions.

While the photos were great it was the people who came that shines in my eyes. Thanks to everyone who made this another special trip up North . Rich you tried ( as well as Lew last year )but I have beaten both of you and remain muskie free. Spiel Thanks for the bed and friendship you have shown us over the years the Musky Rod you built for me is great but the fenwick is a work of art for sure.. Fish farmer thank you for your yearly visit you are a class act for sure. Joey Paul and Allen you all made the trip special with your company and open arms. Roy and Miss J as always it was a pleasure to see you both the food was excellent and while Miss J spoke little English her eyes were filled with joy the whole time. Maureen thanks for taking the time and effort to drive out for a day of fun and fishing. A trip up North is not complete until T.J. and Monique comes to visit. Thanks you both for making the trip even though you both felt bad you made it special. As always the Lak Air Lodge did not disappoint it was excellent as always the rooms are comfortable the fishing grand and the people who run the lodge made every effort to make sure we had every thing we wanted in a timely manner.
Until next year, we love you Canada
