WTG Cliff....pretty soom you'll be taking guys out and giving lessons!! Jason

Thanks guys....as for the molds they are CNC'd somewhere in the states and yes scent is added along with several other chemicals. It's a work in progress....I have several different molds to pour before the seasons starts. It's a real nice feeling when a bass smashes your bait....knowing that you made it from scratch. Jason

Hey Cliff, I know it's calling for alot of rain, but where your going shouldn't be so bad....it's takes ALOT of rain to affect that creek and it will definately clear up the fastest. I've seen Oshawa completely blown and the other creek gin clear....actually I was amazed. A bit of color will do you good....those fish are awfully spooky when it's gin clear. Good luck....who's knows I might see you the weekend. Good luck Jason

And I thought I had spending issues.....thanks Wayne for making me feel better Jason -
Well since the weather has warmed up....I got back out in the garage to pour some soft plastic bass baits....I can't wait for opener!!! There's been alot of trials and tribulations to get to this point.....but I think I've finally figured out how to get my baits to have super buoyancy. Here's 3 baits that I been working on... A 4.5" shakey head worm A 3.75" buzz frog I think this crawfish imitation is gonna be killer!! Any other suggestions as to what colors would be worthy of trying? Jason

WTG guys....I actually caught a big carp yesterday but forgot the camera, measuring tape and logo.....but they have just started to come in the river...lots of time left yet. Jason

This is the site that I use....it's good for the whole world. Unfortunately it's been cloudy (Ontario), but on a sunny day it's awesome. http://rapidfire.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/subsets/?USA4 Jason

Well I finally had the opportunity and honor to get out for some steelheading this morning with fellow Ccmtcanada. The action was pretty slow and the weather wasn't the best but I had a blast. After trying the first spot with no luck....we tried another spot...however the wind was really nasty out there....so we decided to try back where we had began the morning. A few drifts later my float went under...set the hook and felt the head shakes.....cool. After the fish realized he was hooked he made several runs....eventually he was netted by Ccmtcanada. Thanks..... So after a couple of hours we called it quits...sort off. I took Ccmtcanada up to one of my spots for opener for a LOOK to see some spawning fish doing their thing. We saw several fish in this creek....took a few pics. You can see the fins sticking out of the water Can't wait to get out again fishing with Ccmtcanada ......stand up guy. Jason

I need some advice on boat insurance....what would you do? 1-14.5' Gruman (10 years old) 1-25HP (2005) Johnson 2 Stroke 1-trailer (10 years old) $500 coverage for items in boat, rods, reels, electronics etc. I am covered for $7784 with a yearly payment of $245.60 Does this price sound resonable? My yearly payment is due this week.....I've always had a boat for years and NEVER had insurance, but when I purchased this boat from a dealer last year I had to have insurance. I'm contemplating in my head whether or not it is necessary? What would you do? Thanks Jason

Way to go.....some advice Cliff....stop trying to outfish Bly....all women have the special touch. No matter how many fish you catch she will always catch the biggest....that's just the way it is.....and my fiancee never lets me forget it. No matter where we go she always catches the biggest......go figure. Jason

I do a drive-in remote camping/fishing trip every year. Why pay $800-1500....when you can drive to several lakes north of cochrane with LOTS of fish for 1/4 of the price with the comforts of my own boat. Just gas and food with no schedule to follow.....not for everyone...but that's way I like to do it. I just hope that the ice is gone....we were up there on May 22 a couple of years ago and the lake still had ice!!! There's no signs of a significant warm up in the next couple of weeks either. Jason
-
I'm not sure about that area....but I know that there was 26" up in the Kapuskasing area as of last week....probably more now with the cold temps. I just hope it's all gone by May 25.....I'm leaving for 9 days for north of Cochrane.....ice please be gone....please be gone..... Jason

Happy Birthday Jason

Way to go Bly....awesome....there's nothing better sometimes than landing steel by yourself. Jason

Way to go guys....nice to see Jason

I have 9 days starting May 25 for some remote campimg/fishing......has anyone ever been into this lake. I know the fishing is awesome but there is very little info on the internet regarding this lake. There's one lodge on the whole lake with fly-in. According to google earth maps there seems to be road access at the northeast end of the lake....can anyone confirm this? In search of some monster pike......thanks. Jason
