  1. As I was hoping, it looks like it'll be a NY/Chicago final, if the series play out how they look like they will. Though I do feel bad for price to get hurt during such an epic year for him personally. but without him this team would not be where they are and without him moving forward I think they will be out in 5 or maybe even less. pulling for Chicago to win but it would be nice to see St. Louis trade pay off for him
  2. That's always how it is, I used to work at Budd's BMW one of my friends in sales spent some time in oakville and he was flabbergasted when some of the sales people would pass up an opportunity based on what they looked like and drove, he sold 3-4 cars to people driving 15 year old rust buckets where no one else wanted to give them the time of day just based on appearance
  3. nice report, up until about 5 years ago, my grandparents have been going up to cedar lake for the past 45 years, fantastic lake and beautiful scenery, quite the haul from hamilton but well worth the drive
  4. I'm sure we are all just as thrilled as you are that there is a possibility you could care less about his rod builds!
  5. WOOOOO - as much of a non Habs fan I am, great game played by them and I hope it's more of the same in game 7, also the garbage shower on lucic was totally fitting for that garbage guy. I'm surprised Marchand didn't try and join him in the festivities he would be right at home too!
  6. this is true, dion is a top tier defenseman but they just put so much on his shoulders he comes under scrutiny for everything he does. "Looking at the bigger picture, however, this past season the Maple Leafs were outscored by 16 goals at five-on-five; but outscored their opponents by four goals (56 goals for, 52 goals against) with Phaneuf on the ice. In addition to leading the Maple Leafs in ice-time by a wide margin and facing some of the toughest matchups of any individual player in the league, Phaneuf also managed to score eight goals and contribute 31 points in 80 games. In short, Phaneuf remains a credible top-of-the-lineup defenseman. "
  7. Hamilton harbour has plenty of perch, although I do not know what the bite is like, last weekend was the perch derby so if anyone was in it and has some insight it may help you if someone here was in it!
  8. We were the black Lund pulled out just after you with the grey f150 actually haha, we ended up getting one small salmon 4-5lbs only fish landed all day and he went back in, he came on a blue spoon behind a flasher, on a dipsy, the downriggers were quiet other than on our way out first 5 mins huge strike, just crushed it and had it been me or the father in law we would've landed it lol the drag was too loose and he ended up shaking the hook before the young one realized that had he tightened up a bit he could've pulled it in. oh well live and learn, still a great morning out!
  9. Just passed you on the lake lol, pretty quiet morning so far for us. the two young brothers both had fish on and lost, now just waiting our turn lol
  10. I usually like the columns this guy writes, but I think he must be high on something with this projected leafs roster for next year http://www.capgeek.com/armchair-gm/roster/13757
  11. nice looking dog! I've never heard of that breed till now in doing some reading it makes sense why, as they sound like a fantastic breed for hunters and not a typical city dog lol need a lot of space and aggressive in some instances, beautiful looking dogs they are though!
  12. I'll side with the Habs on this one, as much as it pains me, the bruins are playing dirty, it's a discgrace Lucic and Marchand are Canadian in my eyes, just embarrassing in the way they play the game, do they get points? yeah do they agitate? yeah but is any of it honorable? not in the slightest.
  13. Carlyle to an extension, fired the rest of the coaching staff, funny it played out that was I had a conversation with my brother 2 weeks or so ago and I said they'd keep him for this season and see how it goes but give the rest of his staff the boot. pretty good prediction lol, hopefully the rest of the coaching staff can give a much needed boost to our possession game
  14. I think you have underlying issues that are stemming far and away from the use of an iphone! haha
  15. good to see they weren't all poached, kind of unsettling reading people were just picking them out of the water. glad to see they got a new home
  16. if it's a difference of Canadiens vs Canadians what's the difference? French spelling?
  17. what a beauty!
  18. haha yup, Simpson sears 4hp McCulloch noisy as hell but it'll do the trick for a hundred bucks and no wrench time and I can have some fun in my scanoe haha I also read this model was 59-69, I was amazed at the 100:1 fuel mix
  19. this might be more your era! picked it up in dunnville Monday night, $100 started up first pull I couldn't believe it lol
  20. Figured someone on here would be interested in it, came across just doing a search. 14 Outboards for sale $900 takes all on Kijiji http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-boats-watercraft-parts-trailers-accessories-14-Outboards-for-sale-900-takes-all-W0QQAdIdZ588737827
  21. He spoke at the stelco fishing awards April 4th it was kinda tough to listen to him but I felt bad, he didn't have enough charisma to talk to 3-400 guys and retain their attention so he was having to talk over a huge hall of other people not even paying attention to him, tough.
  22. The girlfriends dad has a Lund 1850 tyee dual console, with a 115 merc opti, bought a bar attachment and we can go tubing, water skiiing, wake boarding but it is mainly used as a fishing boat, we frequent Lake Ontario and have been out some days where it turns into 3' + waves and it has handled it excellent every time and we have always felt safe.
  23. started the game off wrong though, and with all the fire he's been coming under the past few games letting in softies or making big mistakes ex. going to play the puck behind the net, missing it having it end up on an opposing players stick and into the net which was the tying goal where they eventually lost on a softie wrist shot from just inside the blue line lol if you have the score app look at the multitude of articles about him apparently him and the team got the stare down from Lemieux after that comeback loss
  24. Reimer to Pittsburgh?? lol Marc Andre fleury is dropping the ball hard
  25. yup that was it lol, insane the amount they have there
