  1. Agreed...... I don't recall the grocery store contacting me over double charging me for a $7 block of cheese!! But like I said, hopefully I have the same "bad store karma" that Jerry had this weekend at BPS. Hopefully they fail to charge me fore the GPS I am going to buy!
  2. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA
  3. How about a "Dorillia" or a "Gog" (Dog/Gorillia)
  4. Lucky! I think I might get the Bassmaster subscription. $26.95 isnt too bad at all.
  5. Oh shoot, I didnt realize I couldn't have cans in there. My bad! Alrighty, so food in the trees it is! ha ha ha. Thanks for pointing that out! I just got an email from another guy saying that the Access Point #17 (Shall, Booth, Farm, and Crotch Lakes) is an excellent spot for pike/bass/lake trout with minimal portaging. Which area would be better for us? (for decent fish, and the least amount of traffic) Happy Isle/Merchant/Redrock or Shall/Booth/Farm/Crotch
  6. Ya, better safe than sorry I say. In hockey, I could hold my own, but come face to face with a bear....I think I might be on the loosing end of that fight! Actually what we were planning on doing was taking just the essentials, with minimal food basically keeping a few fish a day for food. (some canned goods just in case the fish dont co-operate) Would I have to hang canned goods up? (Don't laugh, I am new to the interior thing!)
  7. hahahaha, true enough!
  8. Oh wow, thanks very much! I am definitely going to look into that one! Cheers, *Stoty
  9. True. 1) A subscription usually saves you money 2) That doesn't make much sense now, does it? They will ship to Canadian stores, but not Canadian residents!
  10. Hey everyone, My wife just informed me that you cannot subscribe to Bassin' magazine if you live in Canada. Apparently she was trying to get me that for my bday, but said they wont take Canadian subscribers. Whats up with that? *Stoty
  11. EXACTLY! Very well said. He did, as a consumer, exactly what he was supposed to. Their mistake, his bonus!
  12. Very nice! Is that a little hair jig that you were using??
  13. I forgot to ask about the wild animals around the Happy Isle Lake area. Should we be on the lookout for bears, wolves, etc? Should we hang out food from tree's? (As you can see, I have never been to the interior of Algonquin Park before, LOL)
  14. Thanks jnic, but I am going to try out Happy Isle Lake, its a lot closer than the east gate is to me. I would prefer a lake that doesn't allow motors though. Less noise, less fishing pressure.
  15. I was just there in Sept, and saw numerous fish cruising up and down the beach. A nice spinning rod with a jig, should do you well!
  16. Nope, I don't change my mind at all. I am glad I stood up for you, because you are a good guy. (the above makes that quite apparent) Its just too bad that some people took the topic in a bad direction by directing comments towards certain people. It wasn't your fault, so no matter what anyone said, your not a thief. Hopefully that happens to me when I go to BPS next weekend! hahaha
  17. Does anyone have or know where I can get a topo map of Happy Isle Lake? Thanks in advance.
  18. agreed, well said Walleyejigger
  19. So, that wasn't talking down to me? I simply stated my opinion as well, but you had to comment on that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when you step in a comment on someones, you better be prepared to receive responses to yours as well!
  20. Don't talk to me as though I am stupid or below you, because I am most definitely not! The price of the item isn't the issue here. Its the fact that it wasn't paid for. But I guess you're too ignorant to see that.
  21. I am not insulting anyones intelligence. So, each time you go to the grocery store and buy 100 items, you go over it with a fine tooth comb in your car before leaving, and if they missed a can of soup, your going to go back in and pay for it? I am simply saying....he obviously missed the cashiers error, or he wouldn't have bothered posting it on here. I highly doubt he knew it was missed, then thought, "Hey this would be a great topic for OFC." Everyone needs a break sometimes....
  22. So, if this was a $3 spoon that was missed, that would be OK???
  23. Well, it depends on how much he bought. If he bought a whole bunch of stuff, then he might not have realized that the cashier missed something until he returned home. It most definitely is NOT his fault.
  24. Oh, I thought we were talking about BPS. 1) He didn't steal anything. It was the cashiers error by not ringing it in. 2) I don't think anyone who said keep it, its a thief. I have never stole anything in my life, so I don't appreciate the notion that I am one.
