    same diameter, mono and braid will cast almost same. same lbs, mono will cast less than braid, since braid will have ~4-5 times smaller diameter. 10lb braid has same diamter as 2lb mono.

    and after you assemble it back, use the air compressor and spin for 15-20 min at high rpm.

    not alot of shore access, except marinas, but its shallow and mostly perch fishing there

    its called cargo storage net, i found the elastic ones in one dollar store, but they have bigger holes in the mesh, still good in the trunk.
