I was getting a little nervous reading it, wondering when the bad news was coming and if I should continue to read. What a relief....as a parent I know what that kind of fear feels like...you won't be forgetting this one. You all were very fortunate and that is a blessing. Lessons learnt for sure and at the same time a bonding like no other. See guys....you must always be on time!!!

Ya I'd say you are a pretty cool Dad! I have always wanted to shoot (target practice) but was always told I couldn't cuz I was a girl. Nice to see that you are introducing Katie to a variety of sports. If she's interested in it...why not. But because I am a Mom I have to say this....keep those guns out of your home and in a place where only you have access to them. I know you likely have that covered already, but boys can be so convincing to a young girl's heart.

Sorry to hear this. This is where as the victim you ponder quickly whether or not to follow, get out your cell phone and call 911 while keeping up to the vehicle, but then again speed kills and you have your loved ones to consider. I hope they get caught and quick.
