Had the day to myself since my son was with his mom so I figured it would be a good day to head out to the grand for a full day of fishing .. managed to hook into 6 of them .. biggest being 28" long and an even 12lbs according to my scale .. now I dont have a picture of the scale so if you don't believe the weight toooooo bad took a little drive up the creek to Byng park .. just wanted to see what the water level was like up there .. pretty low and it looks like a beaver has decided to munch on a couple trees going to head out again next weekend with the boy .. and the rod benders have a cat on the board

he didnt say anything offensive other then he caught a fish while all these are sittin at home dreaming of catching a fish .. its a beauty for sure .. for all those that put down his fish because it isnt 20lbs go grab your rod .. no not that one .. your fishing one .. hit a trib and catch a darn fish .. This is why I dont bother with fishing reports anymore .. too many armchair fisheman .. surprised no one has asked where you caught it yet -
stretches of the Credit are open year round .. with this warm weather coming up the next little while just getting out is worth it .. catching something is a bonus

thanks for your opinion but I am looking for the facts here is the definition of organic bait Organic bait – Natural bait comprised of live or dead organisms (animals or plants), derivatives, or parts thereof. This can include minnows, leeches, frogs, insects, worms, fish eggs, cut bait, corn, macaroni, pet food, cheese or similar substances. Fly materials, such as deer hair, or rubber baits impregnated with artificial scents are not considered organic bait.

http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/STEL02_178932.pdf Other legal organic baits currently include earthworms, fish parts, frogs, roe, and leeches. found this on the net .. its going back a couple years .. but according to this fish parts can be used .. as long as not whole .. gonna have to wait to hear back from the MNR

they should .. the water level below the dam should be the same .. just wont be any flow so the carp should still be there .. maybe even more then before
-
if its empty ..chances are the carp arent there

yes .. a sunfish whole is a sunfish .. if I lop a filet off of it and toss it in the water is it still a sunfish or is it now considered organic bait .. I have sent the MNR the same question .. weather or not I get a reply I will have to see you hear about people using perch eyes as bait .. but its not a perch .. its organic bait salmon/trout eggs get used as bait because its organic bait the filet of the fish should be the same .. just want to be sure before I try it

I have read that in some US states that they use sunfish for bait for big cats .. the regs dont have sunfish listed as "live" bait. some people use shrimp, mackeral, and who knows what else from the grocery store my question is if I cut it up as cut bait does it become organic bait opposed to a sunfish??
