  1. you can try a couple processing plants up by port perry and little britain, try pineridge meat packers, and little britain meat packers, if anyone will have it, they would know. we don't carry it all just cause the owners wife and daughter would kill him since they both own horses lol if they don't have it, try contacting black angus meats, they carry exotic meats like camel, musk ox, emu croc and gator, snake, pretty much anything, http://www.blackangusmeat.com/

  2. I've had carp empty nearly all of 300 yards of my reel...

Also... If you get an accidental catch that's larger or stronger then your targeted species it's nice to have extra line...

this so much.....fishing carp accidently hook a 200+ lb sturgeon......has not happened to me, but i've heard stories

  3. i'll add another complaint to this growing list, ran out of propane bbqing burgers tonight, its 630, np, propane refills til 7 here in whitby, get there an nope, can only refill your tank fri, sat, sunday til 11-6pm, i ask the guy where i can get propane, he tells me to go to costco......in pickering.......... 1: i have burger almost done, 2: no membership 3: im not driving to pickering........

  4. bought an almost brand new sectional cough with pull out bed for 250 because the person is an interior designer and was changing their colour scheme lol we had to move it from their basement, but for that price i wasn't complaining

  5.

I'm sorry but at no point should the safety been off unless a deer was in sight , the gun shouldered and he intended to shoot the animal. Sitting in a treestand with the safety off waiting for a deer is just plain " STUPID " . Lowering a gun from a treestand it should have been totally unloaded, safety on don't cut it :wallbash:

most guys will turn the safety off when in the stand, because the click of the safety can spook the deer, also the excitement in the time you have a deer in your sights and you forget the safety is on, well thats a missed opprotunity, kinda like not having your rod in your hand when you get a hit, next time you're float fishing, put a cast out, then put your rod down, or leave slack in the line so you have to reel it up before setting the hook

  6. one accidental shooting happened while the guy was coming out of his tree stand, lowered his gun down first, forgot to put the safety on, gun went off an got him in the gut, he's a friend of my bosses.

the others, i don't know, if its some one else shooting at them, then they are idiots or colour blind since you have to wear blaze orange

  7. Break it down. When I first walked down to the Ashuanipi River in Labrador I almost kerplotzed

    Pic of said river

Where the hell do I find brook trout in this monster????

I simply broke the river down into more managable sizes

Look at it as pieces of a river your use to fishing. Don't try to take it all in at once.

from the pic, i would start at the boulders in the top right....

  8. To fish a larger river system, you HAVE to learn to read the water, an best way to do that is go to a smaller trib and look at the way the current moves around obstacles that you can visibly see, rocks will have a little dip behind them with a small eddy or swirl, deep pools will look smoother shallow areas little quicker moving water.
