  21. Weil was planning on fishing Anjigaming Lake in Chapleau but do to a scheduling conflict we had to change lakes so now we will be fishing Abbey Lake Flying in on Sept 6th to 13th with Parks fly in fishing and will also be fishing in Foleyet the first week of june on 3 different lakes that we allways fish while up at moose camp in October since i live just north of Parry Sound our route is Hwy 69 N to the 144 to the 101 to foleyet and Chapleau thinking of taking the Sultan Rd this year is this road regularly maintained during the year and how much time would i be saving on the drive to Foleyet then Chapleau my biggest concern is if we break down would CAA road side assistance make a service call to that area as i am assuming this is still being used as a logging road so any information would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Mitch......
  22. I also rented a house boat about 20 yrs ago for 5 days and it was over a $1000.00 back then plus the cost of fuel good luck i hope you can find something. Cheers Mitch....
  23. Great report guys love the photos and great video on the sled love Maniwaki spent a lot of summers there as our family cottage was on Lac Joseph just off the Gatineau River lot a great fishing in the area and would allways make a few trips up to Parc de la Verandrye for some awesome walleye and Pike fishing. Cheers Mitch
  24. I fished Biscotasing 4 years ago first week of june we took the train in from Sudbury and stayed at Ritchies end of trail lodge accomadations were good the american plan is different they stock your cabin with food and you do your own cooking and you have access to the food shed anytime. Now for the fishing we caught 5 walleye for the whole week and some small perch and very small pike we tried to get to the portage lake where you take your boat on a train trolley over the hill and pull it up but the trolley was off the track and at the bottom of the lake,we fished hard every day we had fish finders but no luck at all we tried worm harnesses bottom bouncers jigging and different crank baits with no success where ever we fished we were not marking many, at that time the staff was not very knowlegeble of the lake and no one ever did mention Ramsey Lake. Cheers Mitch.......
  25. I would like to start by saying hello to all the members of this site as i am a newbie, after browsing the site for a couple of weeks i decided to become a member and may i add one of the most informative fishing forums that i have come across. With that being said i have decided to change it up this year and try a different outfitter. I have been going on fly ins with Air Ivanhoe for the last five years to different outpost and would like to add the fishing was awesome on everyone of those trips. The reason i decided to change things up this year are from reading two fishing reports from one of the members by the name of Mike Borger one trip was to Ribes lake and the other Anjigaming lake with Parks fly in out of Wawa after reading both reports and viewing all the photos i was hooked and said to my self i am going to Anjigaming so i called my brother and he said lets do it.September canot come soon enough and Mike Borger your post are incredible keep up the good work. Cheers Mitch.....
