  1. One time I was checking out how the fishing was at a spot and noticed several carp anglers. No sooner did I get out of my car that I witnessed a guy's rod got pulled in the water. He immediately noticed and dove in the water for it. He managed to get his rod and battled the fish while in the water. Turned out the be an aggressive 8lb carp. haha. But was funny to see. Another time I was fishing on a pier and noticed a very attractive female walking down the pier with a mini-mini jean skirt, and even skimpier shirt... with another guy with a camera with those huge lenses. Well she was doing all kinds of poses.....not sure if that was just funny or pure awesomeness? Made fishing that night go by nicely, fish or no fish.
  2. Hmm, guessing since it is the law, perhaps it works for MC too? Will have to look into that. I already got scammed on ebay, thankfully paypal followed up and got my money back!
  3. Personally I think they look awesome! Congrats. I was driving beside new Grand Cherokee SRT8 the other day and fell in love with it. Nice ride.
  4. Found this video, couldn't believe it. I have come across some aggressive Geese in my time, protecting young. But not a rogue one like this. This sucker had a pair, but lucky he came across this dog. http://vitaminl.tv/video/1836
  5. Personally any other company on the planet has better support service than Bell! They likely were throttling your Bittorent traffic. Good move though on moving away from Bell. That is what am currently doing.
  6. Without a doubt take your vehicle to Anju automotive. Think that is the name, but that is the only place I take my Highlander. It is right beside the Mr. Tranmissions on Cetennial and Barton. Taken my vehicle many times to him and has been bang on. Only $75/hr. if you can buy your parts ahead of time on rockauto.com first.that would also save you. Andrew is a solid guy.
  7. Done, thanks alot everyone for taking the time for your valuable input.
  8. Sounds easy enough. Thanks Bassman11. It just so happens I have some old jumper cables to use, the bad part is it is in the very back on my crawl space I just neatly piled in.
  9. Haha, sorry about that. I had a conversation with my brother this morning about his bow mount and had it on the brain. Yes, it is a transom mount trolling motor. Is there a way to change the title of this topic? I used to be able to but don't seem to be able to now?
  10. It is a small 14' aluminum boat and would like to disperse the weight closer to the front. Just too much weight in the back with it their.
  11. I have a TRANSOM mount trolling motor but would like to sit the battery closer to the front of the boat. However the cable is not long enough. How should I go about that using an extension wire cable? Thanks
  12. Hopefully the cooler days and especially cooler nights will pickup the action?
  13. Sounds like the same story as last year, and I think the year before too? Oh well, think I can find a way to still enjoy myself there.
  14. Chemistry is important, perhaps they don't have any? But I think a Joe Torre would fit nicely with this team and make it happen.
  15. Well it's that time of year for me to get prepared for my yearly trip to Rice Lake. Will be up there for 2 weeks starting this Saturday. I was wondering how the Walleye fishing has been so far? Thanks
  16. That's excellent news. Looking forward to seeing ya on the show.
  17. yeah, I've seen Muskie do that at Rice Lake. Also have seen Pike do it as well in other lakes. Definitely an odd site to see.
  18. I've been using this for years and it works excellent. Fits in your pocket or tackle box no problem. Like everyone has mentioned its all about the angle.
  19. Was going on a spinning reel. I could break the line fairly easily. It was almost like I was dealing with 2-4lb mono that's how weak it was.
  20. It really is a shame. I just sent them an email, perhaps they will send me another spool, maybe a spool of Tatsu with it too!
  21. I am always looking to try out new line and have a been a fan of Seaguar flouro for years, I picked up the new Seaguar Kanzen Braid in 12lb test recently. I was very impressed with the thinness of the line and seemed very supple to cast with. Started off tying a uni to uni from the Kanzen to a flouro lead and kept breaking at the knot. Then tied directly onto a bait and still kept breaking at the knot. I have never had this issue before with braid. It almost seemed it had the strength of the mono equivalent in diameter. I wasn't even using a whole lot of strength either. So I pulled a couple feet of line out from spool and gave it a pull.....you guessed it, broke pretty easily. After checking some other reviews online appears I was not the only one having this problem. Just thought I'd pass this along in case someone may be interested in this line. Pro's Very thin diameter Supple Con's Brutal knot strength Strength does not appear equal to lb rating
  22. There is a guy in Stoney Creek that sells them from his house at around $35\flat. May vary to $40 at times but usually no more. But is also a bit of a trek for you as well.
  23. Wow, those are some fine specimens! Was there a bait that did the most damage? Nice job!
