  1. Well I figured out how to shrink my pics but I can still only post 3 or 4 at a time so there will be more posts. These ones will be the area we first fished waaaaaay out in the boonies. No fish in these ones.
  2. Just wondering if there are any good creeks or streams or whatever around the Cambridge, Dundas, Flamborough area that hold brookies or even any other good fish besides chubs. Some days I just wanna get out fishing and don't want to do any work for the big fish so those creeks would be fine if I knew of any. Can anyone help me out? Thanks
  3. Here are some video clips from New Brunswick. Lots of fun no matter what size the brookies are. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwNq63GsF9c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHW3KNfp7qU
  4. Well I can't figure out how to shrink my pics before posting. All are pretty much 200k and the maximum upload is 250. I guess I am gonna have to post one pic at a time. If anyone knows how I can reduce them, let me know. I have some nice pics of lakes too but I want to post pics with fish in 'em. So I will do a little of both.
  5. Having a grrrrrreat time here fishin' for brookies. Haven't gone for anything else, too much fun. Only used to gettin' small ones but this year doin' a lot better. I did get a chain pickeral when tryin' for brookies in Mud Lake. Thought it was a nice brookie then saw it was a small pickeral. I tried postin' some pics but they were too large. I got a digital and saved them at the smallest resolution but still only able to post one pic so I haven't yet. Might have to post 'em all after I get back next week. Saw a lot of lakes but most are private. It finally stopped raining today around 5 so I headed out. Got four more decent ones and threw back 3 small ones. Tried the creek down below my brothers around 830pm and got a 10 1/2 incher. Nice. Boy it's hard to leave the creek, even when it's pretty dark. I loves fishin'. Pretty good trip this year but too darn short. Here's one nice 13 incher from Monday.
  6. Steve, what were you using when you were drifting for the brookies? I've only used worm and no floats. How do you fish 'em? I would have definately gone out for those.

  8. I'm used to fishing for little brookies in New Brunswick but don't know where I could fish 'em within 3 hours of Brantford. Didn't realize they were around here. Anyone know good creeks or such that hold 'em? Not necessarily looking for big ones just to catch 'em for fun really.
  9. I remember seeing that clip before and I believe that was supposed to be a shoot for a movie but the copter wasn't supposed to crash.
  10. Just wanted to know if anyone has used the Smartcast wrist sonars? Do they work good? I want to get a good idea how they work before I spend the $100+ on it.
  11. I'm in division 4-Brantford and walleye/pike is closed until next Sat. Is it open now in division 3-Caledonia/Dunnville?
  12. Well I've never hooked a swan but nearly got a Canada goose last year on the Grand. Usually they scoot away when a lure splashes down around them but this time they didn't. I was reeling my crank in (the current was carrying it down toward them) and I could see my line going down and figured it would go under them. Then when it was almost under this group one on the far side started squawking and they all started carrying on and scooting away. Then another one upstream about 30 feet away starting squawking and started heading over to see what was going on. I thought "Oh my God!" What am I gonna do? A new BPS lure. I really don't want to lose it. I kept yanking and it wasn't coming off. I thought for sure I had him hooked. If I reel this bird in and try to get my lure, are they gonna attack me? What do I do? Well then it eventually came off and I just kept reeling it in and got a smallmouth. I had a good laugh about that. Too bad I didn't get it on video. Would have been a contender for Funniest Home Videos or something.
  13. Bill, I have a question for ya. I have never fished Whitemans before and do not have a fly rod. Have you used anything else other than a flyrod? If so, what do you use for bait? I want to fish it sometime.
  14. Fishmaster, what did you use to catch those cats? Have you ever tried stinkbait and if so, did it work good. And lastly, where did you catch 'em?
  15. Has anyone checked out Waterford for crappies lately? Are they hitting?
  16. Can't wait to see the pics. I'm from New Brunswick and have never fished the Miramichi. It's a great river from what I hear. Good luck 2 ya!
