Bang on the money Moose , I did the same rotations at NB General ... I don't work there anymore for that exact reason .. ( never slept well after a night shift during summer with kids in the house )... Gerritt ,congrats and good luck !

Right , but filling someone else's limit is also illegal , could fall under the " party fishing" law ... By that law all anglers must be able to identify ( their ) own catch ... stock piling is definitely a big problem all over the province , it also contributes to the depletion. .

There isn't a better jig on the market with the capability to twist your line like the Airplane has . Use a quality in line barrel swivel about 10" above the Airplane , it will help ( a little ) to reduce line twist ... but when they work they work well .

I would imagine if someone ratted you out , and the MNR decided to a DNA test on your Walleye , if they are deemed Nipissing Walleye , then your ( at home ) possession limit , would be 2 fish per angler... I can see this becoming a problem , considering that Nipissing is the only lake that has a 2 Walleye limit and is surrounded by 4 Walleye limit lakes , enforcement is gonna have fun trying to figure it out on a roadside spot check .

There were Walleye in Nip they were the now Extinct Blue Walleye... She was fished out , worse shape than today, the Yellow Walleye is the specie selected to replace the depleted Blues .

At one time Nip was in worse shape than it is now ..it would be nice to have a lake full of Blues though , like about 100 years ago . History is repeating itself. .

Diesel rocks ! Ford have 4 thousand of pre built 4.5 TT Diesel engines sitting there waiting for the light truck market to pick up ... pardon the pun ... Rumor has that VW have a full size full frame 1/2 ton armed with the V10 TT ... Touraeg engine lined up for 2014 ... Oh my ! that's gonna be hard to beat. ( I'm a Ford man ( bash away) .. The best MPG I've ever got out of my Expedition is 18MPG ... I tow a 30' camper and do from 0-12MPG depending on the slope. I also have '08 Mazda 6 4 cyl auto 5... 44MPG hwy ... but nothing I've owned will meet my 01 Jetta TDI , I once figured out a trip to Dryden at 68MPG ... Diesel all the way ( until it comes to repairs ) ... congrats to GM for making their new truck look like a Ford...
