Pretty sure we have been saying this all year. Course when both games are 4-1 it's a team effort. Can expect even the best D and goalie to pitch a shutout every night. Need that high powered offense to kick it up one more time.

Pretty sure that not once does anyone mention the leafs winning the Stanley cup in this thread.

The reason why I'm so worried about Leafs vs Washington in the first round is our D is the last big imporvement this team needs. It is by no means horrible, but with the firepower on Washington, if Ovetchkin and Co can get favourable matchups and find holes, they could really set the net on fire. Plus I'd take Holtby over Andersson. I can't say that about Ottawa's Anderson or how Rask has played this year.

You would. See if the Sens remember their version of 'Blue and White disease' where they roll over in the playoffs if they play the Leafs. Personally I want Boston but that's just from a vengeance standpoint.

Leafs can make a match of Ottawa or Boston. Lots of experience to be gained there. I feel like a series against Washington would be a blowout. Not much to be gained from that.

Didn't expect the Leafs to win that one. 2nd game of the back to back against one of the best teams in the league with the backup in net. Now gotta hopefully get 4 points in these last 3 games. Thursdays game is HUGE!

This game reeeeally got out of hand. Also, not sure how Kadri got 4 minutes for chirping. Regardless. Leafs won, Sens tied. Leafs now have sole possession of 2nd spot in the division. Such a great season for our boys.

Now we face into the eyes of the beast. Buffalo (who we never play well against) Washington, Pittsburgh, Columbus (all 3 top teams in the Metro division) and a huge game against Tampa. Our boys are doing everything they have been asked, but it only gets harder from here.

Leafs are tied with the Sens. Boston is 1 point behind. We got a real slobber-knocker going on these last 6 games. Holy smokes.

I would looooove to see Toronto vs Ottawa in the first round again. Toronto has nothing to loose and boy would it ever been embarrassing for the Sens to lose AGAIN to the leafs.

That was another big 2 points. It wouldn't have to be but both Boston and Tampa won as well tonight. 36 goals for Matthews and 2 points behind the Sens.
