A few small walleye to get things started.

Hi All,

Took a drive down the road trying to find some ice i feel comfortable on. I found 5" inches yesterday on Eagle Lake , but it was near current so today I opted for a lake that usually freezes up quick but is pretty poor fishing through the ice. There was 8" inches of solid black ice and even a few small walleye to reward my efforts. It was -16℃ with winds gusting to 40kmh....COLD!

Always jealous how early you can get out.  Little guys but at least you got to scratch the itch.

Definitely a case of ‘itch scratched’ , 3 weeks or so since I last wet a line.
