I found 5" inches yesterday on Eagle Lake , but it was near current so today I opted for a lake that usually freezes up quick but is pretty poor fishing through the ice. There was 8" inches of solid black ice and even a few small walleye to reward my efforts. It was -16℃ with winds gusting to 40kmh....COLD! 1
