Barry Willis Posted September 2 Report Posted September 2 (edited) I had to show you guys a couple shots of a pair of mallards on Chestermere Lake just east of Calgary I was lucky enough to get pics of. The best ones I've taken in many years. I just wish they were sharper but the ducks were going up and down from the wake of a speed boat and the floating dock I was on was also going up and down as well, plus I had to zoom in as far as the camera would go which also doesn't help when it comes to clarity and sharpness. Aside from that I couldn't be happter with them. Every thing else is perfect especially the color and the under water shot of him propelling himself along. Maybe London Drugs photo labs can sharpen them up for me. The first shots they are having their after breakfast nap, that is until they noticed me. Threw in a couple extras of other birds. Darn, aside from the raven on the bushnell trail cam the last ones aren't as sharp as they should be ither. Edited September 2 by Barry Willis 3
smitty55 Posted September 3 Report Posted September 3 It's not unusual for clarity to suffer once you get past the mechanical zoom and into digital zoom if that's what your camera has, still great pics. 1
