Cast Netting in Ontario

I was curious if anyone knows whether or not Cast Netting is legal in Ontario. I've been looking online and have seen so many mixed answers so i was curious what you guys have heard about rules regarding cast netting.

I have not checked in many years but last time I checked they were illegal, they don’t meet the description of a seine net and no arms like on a dip net
