I live in Chatham Ontario and was wondering what lure or bait to use to catch walleye in the Thames River. It is oretty dirty in town, not like near London. Thanks for any help.

I'd go with something that gives off a scent, like a PowerBait plastic or worms, plus a shiny blade, so maybe a worm harness with a spinner blade or 2 at the front.  I know the Thames and it can be downright muddy.  I grew up down your way and fished that river as a teen , halfway between Chatham and London at Big Bend.
