It describes a particular area that is fairly expansive, but not accessible to shore fishing. Easy to find in a rental boat though. I'd say the best areas start about 200 yards off shore, just look for the rock piles, they are very easy to see. They were eating up a drop shot, spinnerbait and senko on opening day and got some on a rattle trap too.

Thanks anyway guys, heading up to Washago for a bit before work. Had a bulldogger on the other day that snapped my braided line gonna go see if it's still around.

Matt, gotta get to Orillia one of these days to fish with ya, :Gonefishing: the boat is sitting in the garage waiting to get wet in Couch. Been about a year since I've been up in your part of the country. :blush:
