Buying an aluminum boat in the u.s.a

In the sault 12' aluminum boats are hard to come by and if you do find one the price is insane like it's gold plated or something haha.

Being on a border town I looked at the michigan classifieds and there's lots and for cheap even with the exchange rates right now.

What do you need to bring one across the border? I'm talking just bare boat no motor no trailer.
