F7Firecat Posted February 15, 2016 Report Posted February 15, 2016 I am headed to Timmins on March break for a Provincial Ringette Tournament. I will be dragging my son along and wish to possibly take him ice fishing. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as outfitters in that area that could offer us a hut? I don't care what we fish for just looking to get out for an afternoon or two. Thanks Bryan
lickmyarmpit Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 I'm heading up there for a job opportunity this week if I can get everything sorted out by the weekend I'm looking to hit the ice. If I come across anything I'll pm you. Any guys in the area wanna play guide beers afterwards are on me.
mitch seguin Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 For a DIY outing, bring an auger and frozen smelt and your lines. I would recommend Porcupine Lake right in town for pike action. Access the lake at Deadman's Point (south side of lake half way).
