redmanca Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 Has anyone ever reversed the head on a transon mount trolling motor so that it can be mounted and used on the bow of the boat. I would love to mount a hand control motor on the front of my small boat but I cant justify the price tag of a foot controlled bow mount motor. Any ideas I would love to hear about them! Thanks in advance! Redmanca
Terry Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 yeah, they are very easy to do it just a few screws to remove and carefully turn head and screw it back on on most makes you can see the screws and remove them on the outside, but take the top off the head so you can see the wires are ok while turning it
