Andy Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 Yes, I purchased the Navionics card for Nipissing this past winter. Took it up ice fishing on the east end of the lake and it's going to be great this summer. I'd have to fire it up to remember how far west it goes. I know the west arm is on it. I will still keep my charts with me. I've already got a bunch of waypoints saved, can't wait to get back up there. Andy

ricksed Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 I bought the Navonics Hot Map card yesterday, installed it in my unit to check it out .It looks pretty accurate for the area I am familar with on the West Arm.
Slimeball Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 Nipissing is in the Navionics Hot Maps Premium Canada 2007card, includes the Upper French River. I would not use the chip solely for safe navigation as it is not entirely accurate as the paper hydrographic charts. J.Merics
