fishinguypat Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 Hello, I need a new steelhead rod to compensate for one that broke on me and is in the process of repair (by me).I also have a 10' rod that I use for the smaller creeks. For my new rod I need something about 11' and not too whippy for spinning tackle. Anyone know any good rods like this in the price range of $70-$110? My local shops don't seem to be carrying too many. Thanks
Bondar Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) Personally I'd probably look at a fenwick , might be a little more. Than 110. Decent rod for the money , other than that maybe shimano convergence or rapala ? Edited October 10, 2012 by Wiser
Ralph Field Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Streamside or Shimano clarus would be in your price range.
MCTFisher9120 Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Streamside rods are very nice, check them out for sure.
solopaddler Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Streamside rods are actually pretty nice sticks for the money.
fishinguypat Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Posted October 11, 2012 I actually looked at a few Streamside rods before, I may take another look and might try it out.
