pickerel lake near Burk's Falls?

Hi,

 

I'll go to pickerel lake near Burk's Falls early Sept., stay in north part of the lake. never fished there before, from the cottage website, walleye, SM bass should be the target fish, anyone fished the lake before? any suggestion?

Are you staying at pickeral lake cottages? If so, just talk to Doug when you get there. He'll steer you in the right direction. Not a very big lake, so shouldn't be too hard to figure out. I find the fishing there to be mediocre at best. Some good pike and bass though. Try the rock face for Bass.
