That's one thing that drives me crazy about the populated spots I go. One question; braid, fluoro or mono on your reel for the epic battle? I don't see myself switching brands anytime soon... This stuff is great! For this trip, I tied it directly to some home-made leaders. For walleye and bass I just uni-uni or improved surgeon knot to some mono or fluoro. My Abu Soron STX20 also held up well, it has a really great drag system on it... The reel is noisier than I'd prefer but it handles the abuse with ease. I'm happy but not in love with it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
