flyfisherkirk Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Hey all! The Ontario Fishing Regs state in Durham region all streams from the CN bridge to the lake are no closed season. It does not say anything about the Wilmot being closed after the 31st of Dec. I thought it was closed. Can anyone shed a light on this. Fred
chefboi17 Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) South of the tracks is open all season. There is a extended season between hwy 2 and the cnr that closes at the end of the year in that zone. I spent most of last years winter on the wilmot, since it was so mild it didn't really freeze up Edited February 26, 2011 by chefboi17
GBW Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 If the train tracks are to the North and the big lake is to the South, fish.
