Take a spud and check as you walk. I hear there is as little as 1.5" to 2" in some spots and at most 5".

There's always a pessure crack at the point and it may look safe until you walk on it.

Hopefully this day of warmth will help melt some of the snow in order to make some good ice from here on in.

It hasnt been a good year so far for making ice no matter what you have heard from other people.

It's not worth risking your life for herring or smelt.... :D

I think ur right I have to check it for myself.. I just heard from bait store that he and his friend went and they are in 80ft.. just want to confirm its true.. I know someone here must try it some how.. :)
