Lake Nipissing Ice Report

So I guess it's time for my yearly post..lol

 

I was out on Nipissing(2km off lonely island) today and the ice is good and solid at 7-8". There are some slushy spots due to the amount of snow we've had up here, but all in all the lakes in pretty good shape.

Marc from Anglers Haven called me today to report that he has a trail packed down to his shack location and the ice is coming along well. 7 to 10 inches of ice reported.

Good to hear.... I am staying with Marc on the w/o of Jan 14th. So far we are off to a very good, cold start!
