fisher12 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 (edited) I know that smallmouth bass come in the spring and summer to the Credit river, correct me if I am wrong. Would the best lure/ baits to uses for them be worms? Edited October 8, 2010 by fisher12
ld17 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 As the water gets cooler you slow down your presentation. So the mid to low 50's I'd use tubes or worms dragged on the bottom. If the temp. is warmer say low to mid 60's then you could use jerkbaits or crankbaits or spinners. Good luck.
fishinguypat Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 the salmon/steelhead scare the bass out, and the fact that the water is colling down
