SudburyAngler Posted August 13, 2010 Report Share Posted August 13, 2010 Hi I am looking for some pike pointers for the wanapetei River near the beggining of the killarney highway. I seem to catch big Walleye and some smallies as big as 4pounds. But, I have not caught a pike there yet, which is totally opposite to the norm. If you have any tips please share. Headhunter Posted August 13, 2010 Report Share Posted August 13, 2010 There are plenty of Pike where the river empties in the French River, not far from Hartley Bay. Take a look at Allen Lake, near the mouth of the river and you will find plenty of pike... big one's well I'll leave that up to you.
