Go with the leader.If your using a long minnow bait or decent sized spinnerbait?You'll be ok unless a monster pike grabs it. Braid is strong but less abbrasion resistant. NAW Posted August 14, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2010 By-the-way, I wasn't suggesting that 20 pound Trilene was my choice for a Pike leader, just that in an emergency it was available at CTC and more bite-off resistant that your raw 30 pound Powerpro. Garry2R's That's what i figured Garry. Thanks a lot for all the info guys. I'm about to hook my boat up, and get the heck out a dodge!
