duxbware Posted August 3, 2010 Report Share Posted August 3, 2010 Has anyone ever been to Moosepoint cottages or fished Tomiko & Chebogan lakes in mid October? We are looking at booking a cottage there this fall for some duck hunting and fishing. Looking for OFNers input.I heard that fishing there in the fall is tough. Walleye and Bass are rather easy to catch there in the fall 15-25 FOW. Jig & Leech. Paul and Linda are great hosts.(so are Turbo and Charger golden retrievers) Enjoy your stay. Jay T Posted August 3, 2010 Report Share Posted August 3, 2010 I did a Bear hunt their two years ago, the hunting sucked due to weather (WAY too hot), but as Randy said Paul and Linda are great hosts.
