loch gary (black lake) info ?

i used to fish this lake years ago, and i was pulling 5 lb bass out of there like fleas on a hound. my ex father in law showed me this place and he told me how many bass they caught and i dint believe him. he used to pull them in with weiners on a hook and spinner. weird eh ?

this small lake is used as the reservoir for alexandria ont. , and someone told me that one year a while back, that they let too much water out and the lake froze to the bottom, killing everything in it. does anyone know if this is true, and if so, has it rebounded back from the dead.
