re: no pics....when you're on foot in the bush and you're stalked by a 150 lb cat, is grabbing your cam the first thing on your mind?....bangers and knife is what goes through my mind first.....

 

even in their highest concentrated populations you rarely see one inside of 100 yds, you need to have the right lense to get a pic of it and you only have a few seconds to snap the pics....

 

pics can be altered and will always be argued....DNA/scat is firmer evidence IMO

I saw lots of cougars when I lived out in oshawa. Pretty sure its a designated sanctuary...

 

Also a great place to hunt mullets.
