CementCarver Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 Gents, Is there any way to make your own minnow traps? Or are the aluminum ones that you buy better to use? ...CementCarver

Sudzy Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 Personally I would just spend the $10 and pick up the premade one at Canadian tire - lol but I'm lazy.
fishermccann Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 I too use that one , cheap and easy. You will refine it with some holes around the sides so it sinks faster , and some rocks in the bottom so it goes where you want. I just use white bread as bait and I have caught more than twentey at a time in a 2 lr. bottle. And if someone takes it no loss just make another.
