Hummingbird speed sensor

I have a HB 535 and the speed sensor is not registering on the screen.My ? is this sensor a variable resistor or Can I test it with my ohm meter while spinning it?like an abs wheel speed sensor,and test for output voltage.

Cant find the schematics anywhere,and not sure of the specs for these sensors.

Never mind,prob solved.Clip to hold the wheel at the sensor flipped over jammed the wheel.
