great to get responses on a topic i thought might get little interest from the community 'cause of the close proximity to TO. just a great 5 hours of paddling ,, it's amazing how quiet toronto gets from such a short distance away,quite unexpected tranquility really. thanks for all your input,, just great ,.thanks

Yes, have been going there for 20 yrs.or so. Really a small window of opportunity since most of the bigguns are gone back to the big lake when the season reopens.

I love canoe fishing for pike! You can always tell how good of a fish it is by how much it pulls the boat... Hehehe... We always frive 7 hours North fir pike. Maybe I'll start looking in the back yard for them! They're obviously there. Nice fish, and great pictures.
