love2fishhave2work Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 To anyone who fishes Nippissing, given the recent warm trend, how much ahead of typicall seasonal patterns do you expect this year will unforld. Does this weather set up for a 1-2 weeks scenario ahead of typicall seasonal patterns or can one expect to arrive in Nippissing on June 1st and all the walleye are already in a summer pattern? Local or lake regulars advice would be very much appreciated. Typically when I get there on June 1st I still need my mittens at times but this year feels like an early summer. If my question is hard to understand, sorry, can't seem to word it any better.
TJQ Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Really depends on april and whether its freezing or not.. personally i dont expect this warm trend to continue.. at least not all through april . id like it but i dont think it will be so. id say though as for fish patterns.. ya 1-2weeks.
love2fishhave2work Posted March 16, 2010 Author Report Posted March 16, 2010 thanks, with day's like today, feels like the spawn is around the corner.
