Bait?

Does anyone know where to get some big bait (minnows) going up to Lake Simcoe coming from niagara area.

No need for live bait. Grab some Williams 1/2 & 1/2's and some meegs/badd boyz along with some micro tubes and you're all set. Been fishing there for years and years and never used live bait.

If you taking the 400N there is a service station after Major Mackenzie. It' in the back of the Petro, Fish Ontario, here is the # I don't remember what they open, 905.832.4566. Hope this helps, Daniel.

If you really want to use live bait there are a few shops around the area. Rack n' Reel at Tiffin st & Innisfil st in Barrie, Love to Fish in Lefroy, there's a bait shop right at Yonge St & Hwy 89 and I think the Gilford General store has them.
